The Heriot-Watt University has announced an initiative called TechXtra, which comprises a suite of 10 free online services to simplify access to engineering, mathematics and computing information from a host of sources. The services include database cross-search, job announcements, industry news, free trade magazine subscriptions & technical document downloads, online bookstore, offshore engineering information, discovery guides, information on validated engineering design data and advances in manufacturing.
